In his new position, Mr Sfeir is charged with supporting aggregators and other strategic relationships.
Prior to joining Moula in 2018, Mr Sfeir worked in a business development capacity for a decade, with more than half of that time spent at Macquarie Group.
He started his new role in November 2020.
Moula has also expanded its national coverage to support brokers with three new business development managers.
Lauren Falleti has been named as Moula’s new Victorian BDM, effective immediately.
Ms Falleti has over a decade’s experience across commercial and residential lending and was most recently a BDM with Latitude Financial Services.
She said she was “excited to work with brokers to help SME clients access finance”.
Peter Cutuli and Nicki Ghazi have been appointed as BDMs to service NSW brokers.
Mr Cutuli was most recently the broker relationship manager at Capify Australia.
He has broad experience in finance, across residential mortgages, wealth management and unsecured business finance, having worked as a mortgage broker for Lendi, a real estate agent for Raine & Horne, and as a banker at ING.
Joining Mr Cutuli in NSW is Nicki Ghazi, who was previously the manager for working capital at business loan marketplace Valiant Finance. Ms Ghazi also previously held roles as a lending specialist at Valiant and holds a bachelor’s degree in business/commerce.
Both Mr Cutuli and Ms Ghazi started their new roles in September 2020.
Commenting on the team expansion, Moula’s head of sales, Tas Tzimos, said: “We are excited to welcome Lauren, Peter and Nicki to our sales team.
“Adding three BDMs provides increased coverage to assist our partners across Australia and enhance dedicated support, training and workshopping.
“In addition, creating a new head of strategic partnerships role with Sam at the helm will enable us to better serve our growing network of aggregator relationships.”
