Mark Mullins, director at Hood Sweeney, said: “Hood Sweeney has a 40+ year history of putting our clients at the centre of what we do. Our partnership with Marketplace is just an extension of this, allowing our clients to get access to some of the most experienced commercial lending specialists in Australia.

“We expect this relationship will be a great outcome for our clients.”

Dino Pacella, head of third-party relationships at Marketplace Finance, commented: “I’m really excited about the partnership with Hood Sweeney. Assisting their clients to fulfil their commercial finance requirements and help to further deepen the relationships they hold with their clients is always placed at the centre of everything we do at Marketplace Finance, as a dedicated and trusted business partner.

“I’d like to personally thank Mark Mullins and Diane Potter for all their hard work and professionalism in bringing this exciting new partnership to a leading place within both businesses.

“It was a pleasure to officially launch this partnership with the Hood Sweeney team on Tuesday (17 May), along with our director of sales, Ryan Nelson (who zoomed in), at their impressive head office in the Adelaide CBD.

“My team and I are looking forward to an extremely successful and prosperous partnership together.”

Marketplace Finance was launched in 2019 by commercial brokers Matthew Johnson and Jean-Pierre Gortan from brokerage Simplicity Loans & Advisory.

The full-service commercial finance platform delivers lending solutions to brokers and their clients via a white labelled portal, which allows referrers to provide its range of commercial products to clients.

Its team of commercial finance specialists then provides dedicated support to users, managing submissions from inquiry through to settlement.
