According to the latest Dyson Austen Top 10 Prestige Residential Survey, Australia’s most expensive property was sold in the third quarter of 2010.
A seven bedroom house in Point Piper went under the hammer for a cool $52 million, markedly higher than the next most expensive property ever sold in Australia, a $45 million home in Vaucluse.
In addition to the Point Piper sale, the other two most expensive sales for the year were two houses in Vaucluse, which went under the hammer for $16.3 million and $26.75million – suggesting the top end of the property market continues to go from strength to strength.
