Oasis eases product suitability concerns

Oasis Mortgage Group has launched a new scenario service that helps brokers find the most suitable non-bank loan for clients.

According to Oasis' Simon Reibelt, the Oasis Product Match (OPM) is simple to use. All brokers need to do is enter the needs of their client, at which point the service then presents a list of the non-bank and non-conforming products that match the client’s needs.

“From there the broker can print off product sheets and even submit a more formal enquiry for approval,” Mr Reibelt said.

In addition to this, Mr Reibelt said the service could also help brokers with compliance under the National Consumer Credit Protection legislation, as it does not identify lenders or commissions; rather the product selection is based solely on the client's needs.

“OPM also allows brokers to demonstrate how they arrived at any product selected. They can even involve their client in the selection of that product,” he said.
