Smartline managing director Chris Acret said it was pleasing to have WA’s 30 plus franchisees now operating under the same brand as the rest of the group.
“It was appropriate to retain the Mortgage Force identity in WA for the first 18 months or so, to allow the merger to be bedded down and for the two businesses to be fully integrated,” Mr Acret said.
“That has been successfully achieved and it was felt that the time was now right to bring all franchisees under the Smartline brand.
“The merger has given us some fresh ideas and enabled us to take the best from each business.”
With the merger now fully complete, Mr Acret said he was confident the group had strong foundations in place for continued growth both in WA and nationally.
“The strengths of both businesses, coupled with Mortgage Force’s experience in operating in a highly regulated industry in WA, has served the group well over the past 18 months in an environment of considerable change and challenge nationally,” he said.
