The major lender beat Australia’s other banking institutions to take home the award at a gala dinner held in Melbourne on Friday night.
There were 15 award winners on the night, four which were awarded to outstanding individuals and 11 awarded to top performing companies.
Speaking about the awards, MFAA chief executive Phil Naylor said each of the winners had managed to stand out from the crowd.
“These winners are continually capitalising on the momentum for best practice in the mortgage and finance broking industry,” Mr Naylor said.
“2010 was yet another challenging year for many finance and broking companies still recovering from the effects of the GFC. This year’s winners have demonstrated creativity in their approach to reaching higher goals and excelling in performance amongst industry peers.”
Other winners on the night were Mildura Finance, AFG, Vow Financial, Connective, Great Aussie Dream, Horizon Financial and Bernie Lewis Home Loans.
