The world’s leading financial authorities met in Rome over the weekend to discuss the challenges currently facing financial institutions across the globe.
The Financial Stability Forum (FSF) said “the financial system faces a number of significant near-term challenges” and urged financial institutions to enhance disclosure of risk exposures to contribute to restoring confidence to markets.

The Forum will deliver a report to the G7 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors in April, which will identify key weaknesses underlying financial turmoil and will recommend actions for enhancing market and institutional resilience.
