The new quarterly magazine will deal exclusively with the opportunities and challenges that face women in today’s industry.
With a blend of business, work-life balance and inspirational stories, AdviseHer will be tailored to the unique needs and interests of the female broker.
The first issue of AdviseHer will be delivered to female brokers with the January issue of The Adviser.
While there were over 100 suggestions for the new title, the name AdviseHer was individually suggested by a range of industry participants.
Caroline Thomas from ING DIRECT said while the title was a "simple play on words, sometimes those simple ideas are the ones that stick".
"I was very supportive of the idea for a female-focused broker publication so I was committed to come up with something engaging," she said.
Mortgage Choice's Dawn Courage and Essential Financial Services Lyn Johnson also suggested the title name.
Ms Johnson said the name could reflect the style and tone of the new magazine.
"I liked the title AdviseHer because it not only represents how The Adviser can prepare information specifically for us but also how we advise our female clients," she said.
Jessica Darnbrough, the editor of The Adviser and the new title AdviseHer, said the response to the naming initiative was excellent and highlighted the level of engagement The Adviser has with the mortgage industry.
“I was surprised by how many brokers, both female and male, came up with suggestions.
“The new magazine has been created to help build a community around this sector of the mortgage industry; it’s an important initiative for us and considering the level of engagement we've had naming the title it confirms we’re on the right track.”
