Under the alliance, SuperShift will provide Australian First Mortgage brokers with a streamlined service including the full start to end SMSF process needed to be followed to purchase property and borrow under a limited recourse loan.
SuperShift Australia principal Nic Ellis said the company’s SMSF processes are the best in the business.
“The process we use truly works as we ‘champion’ all parts of the process and project manage this with a seamlessly integrated approach facilitating a smoother client experience,” he said.
“We have teamed up with AFM – as they offer an excellent Limited Recourse loan product and their rates for these types of loans are often the lowest of any Funder. They have built a specific offering that is tailored for our legal structures and enables the broker and the end consumer the best deal with a minimum of fuss.
“The SuperShift Australia wholesale model is based upon aligning itself with other businesses who already have a financial solution footprint and are looking to expand that footprint through offering additional value added services to their clients.
“The AFM broker network enables us to distribute our SuperShift product through their distribution channel and then partner the serious broker who wants to develop their business model and profit in this tremendous new growing area. It also allows other brokers to setup a more casual referral model and build passive income streams from being provided with a safe home from opportunities that may arise.”
Australian First Mortgage director David White said the SuperShift alliance would help the lender grow its market share in this lending area.
“The SMSF space is an area we have been looking at for a while and the numbers of LR loans in Australia has grown rapidly, but until we were introduced to the SuperShift team and their process we hadn’t found the right fit or were really comfortable with being able to achieve the best outcome,” he said.
“We can see a massive opportunity here for our business to pick up true market share in a space that has generally been dominated by the NAB and St. George and it's crucial to our success to have the right strategic partner.
“We are now educating our broker affiliates that by offering SuperShift, they can make a strategic imprint within their client base, the general community, their business centres and achieve professional cut-through by understanding the opportunity and following a simple process.”
