Ms Darnbrough will abseil down the 130 metre building in support of the Sir David Martin Foundation.
The Sir David Martin Foundation is a non-profit organisation created in 1990 by the late Governor of NSW, Sir David Martin, who had a dream of "safety, hope and opportunity for all young Australians".
Organised by AMP bank, a number of finance journalists and finance professionals will take part in the Abseil for Youth challenge.
Speaking about the challenge, Ms Darnbrough said she was excited, but understandably nervous.
“I am very excited to be involved in the Abseil for Youth challenge and am proud to support such a wonderful charity. That said, I think I’ll have very different thoughts when I am at the top of the tower staring down at the ground,” she said.
