RAMS' head of franchising, Huw Bough, said the openings extend the lender’s mainland presence to 70 home loans centres nationally, run by 60 local franchisees.
“South Australians have taken advantage of our competitive rates on home loans and down to earth service for many years, and now they will be able to access help face-to-face through our new RAMS Home Loan Centres (RHLCs) in Adelaide and surrounding areas,” Mr Bough said.
“RAMS Home Loan Centres are owned and operated by a local home loan expert, providing homebuyers with the peace of mind that they’re dealing with someone they can trust when it comes to their individual home loan needs.”
The official opening of the Adelaide central home loan centre was held last month, by newly-appointed principal, Stephen Villios.
“We have been incredibly busy in the past few weeks as many homebuyers are seeking to capitalise on the competitive interest rates available in the market,” Mr Villios said.
“Already, we are receiving in excess of 50 enquiries a week and this activity is expected to climb following the recent introduction of the new state government First Home Buyers’ Grants for those seeking to construct a new home.
“This boost is encouraging first home buyers into the market and the RAMS customer base is growing at a rapid rate, in line with economic growth in South Australia.”
