In a statement released by the brokerage yesterday, Alan Hemmings was named as the new general manager.
Oxygen’s parent company, McGrath, said this was an important milestone for the brokerage.
“Alan has had a distinguished career in the banking and finance sector spanning 16 years, with the last six years in third-party business. He has a detailed knowledge of the credit and mortgage market and has the credentials that we believe will lead the Oxygen business through its next period of growth and expansion,” McGrath’s chief operating officer Geoff Lucas said.
Speaking about his appointment, Mr Hemmings said he was excited to join such a well recognised brand within the finance industry.
“McGrath has a strong brand and is recognised as an innovator and leader, and Oxygen mirrors those same standards,” he said.
“I intend to grow the business as the McGrath network continues to expand its reach. In escalating our broker network, we will recruit the highest quality of brokers to fit in with the culture and exemplary customer service and professional advice that clients know they will receive from both McGrath and Oxygen.”
