In a bid to offer its broker partners a more holistic service, Trigon Financial has signed an agreement with FIFO Capital.

Under the terms of the agreement, brokers will be able to help their business clients with a range of financial solutions outside traditional mortgage broking, including invoice discounting and factoring.

According to Trigon’s managing director Robert Weeks, the relationship also enhances the company’s offering to their current and future joint venture financial planning and accounting partners.

“We recognise that forming relationships in this marketplace is hard and unless you can offer your referral partner something more than broking, the door is generally closed,” Mr Weeks said.

“We are finding that our various different and often unique offerings are opening doors for our brokers who can now offer more than your basic traditional broking service.”
