CBA was also named Best Third Party Lender and won the award for Best Customer Marketing.
The bank’s general manager of broker sales, Sam Boer, thanked brokers for their support.
“Home loans are a very important product for the bank and brokers provide an excellent service to customers in guiding them through the home buying process,” he told The Adviser.
“There is no reason to believe this will change, nor will our support for and engagement with the broker channel change. We will continue to work to help them build their business.”
Mr Boer said the bank’s success was great recognition for its relationship managers and other staff who “continually work to exceed our customers’ and our brokers’ expectations”.
CUA was the only other multiple winner, claiming the Best Mutual and Best Non-Bank gongs.
Six other lenders each took home one award: ANZ, Connective, ME Bank, Pepper, Resimac and St George. State Custodians chief executive Heidi Armstrong was also named Best Industry Thought Leader.
The fourth annual awards night was held in Sydney on February 13 and was hosted by comedian Vince Sorrenti.
