Adelaide Bank has added two former mortgage brokers to its team of relationship managers.

Michael Johns and Cassandra Thong will work with brokerages and aggregators throughout NSW.

Adelaide Bank told The Adviser that it had six other BDMs: three in South Australia, one in Queensland, one in Western Australia and one for both Victoria and Tasmania.

Mr Johns is a former Mortgage Choice franchisee, while Ms Thong has formerly operated as a broker and a relationship manager with HSBC.

The bank’s senior manager of broker distribution, Fons Caminiti, said they both had a strong understanding of the growing NSW market.

“Having worked at the coal face themselves, both Cassandra and Michael have a keen understanding of the level of service brokers should expect so as to make the home purchasing and/or refinancing experience as smooth and stress-free as possible,” he said.

"Adelaide Bank is committed to ensuring that brokers continue to experience the rapid turnaround times and outstanding service they have come to expect from our business.”
