Westpac cuts three-year rates

Westpac has announced another rate cut, with its three-year fixed rate falling by five basis points.

The Premier Advantage Package three-year rate has been reduced from 4.99 to 4.94 per cent.

The stand-alone three-year rate has been cut from 5.19 to 5.14 per cent.

There has also been a drop in three-year SMSF investment property loans, from 5.54 to 5.49 per cent.

The new rates take effect from August 21.

Meanwhile, Westpac’s other fixed rates have remained unchanged.

Premier Advantage Package rates are at 4.79 per cent for one year, 4.84 per cent for two years, 4.99 per cent for four and five years, and 6.50 per cent for seven and 10 years.
