Suncorp’s chief executive officer Patrick Snowball has completed his overhaul of the company’s executive ranks by appointing Robert Stribling as the company’s newest chief risk officer.
Mr Stribling, who has previously held the role of chief risk officer at the NAB and chief operating officer for group risk management at ANZ, will report directly to Mr Snowball.

In a statement to announce Mr Stribling’s appointment, Mr Snowball said the global financial crisis had reinforced the importance of effective risk management frameworks, particularly for financial services companies.
Since starting in September, Mr Snowball has reinvigorated the company’s executive team, bringing in outsiders to fill the posts of chief financial officer and head of human resources.
