Former MFAA chief executive Phil Naylor has joined industry consulting group SAKS Consulting as associate director.

SAKS co-founder and principal, Steve Paterson, welcomed Mr Naylor’s decision to join the group.

“With Phil’s background in association leadership and lobbying, both in the retail and mortgage and finance sectors, he brings an array of skills and talents that will assist to broaden SAKS’ offering to clients,” Mr Paterson said.

Mr Naylor said he had always imagined that after his CEO roles he might move into consulting work.

“SAKS' vision to broaden their offer to potential clients has provided the perfect vehicle for me to do that,” he said.

The firm's co-founder and principal, Kym Dalton, said that since commencing in 2008, SAKS has established a sound reputation in the financial services space, particularly in the area of litigation support.

“Phil’s involvement will indeed serve to broaden the reach of the company’s consulting and advisory services,” he said.
