Former RAMS head of brand and marketing Chris Thornton has taken up a new role with Tasmanian-based lender MyState Limited.
MyState announced this week that Mr Thornton has been appointed as the group’s new general manager.

Prior to his five-year stint with RAMS, he held similar marketing positions with AAPT, Dell and Virgin Money.
MyState managing director and chief executive officer Melos Sulicich said the group is excited to have Mr Thornton on board.
“We are delighted to welcome Chris to the MyState Limited team,” Mr Sulicich said.
“He has an excellent track record of delivering strategic and commercial success in dynamic environments.
“His strong background of developing and implementing marketing strategy, brand building, product development and customer lifecycle management will complement our executive team as we continue to grow.”
Mr Thornton will commence his new role with MyState Limited on 20 April.
He brings over 20 years’ experience to the role and holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons), Managerial and Administrative Studies from the UK’s Aston University.
