Bankwest’s Mark Reid will leave the bank’s retail arm to take up the position of head of business and private banking at the end of this month.
Announcing the appointment, Bankwest’s business chief executive Ian Corfield said Mr Reid’s position would include building a new divisional approach to the Sales and Service model of the business division.

“To pursue our strategic direction for Business relentlessly, we need a strong leadership team ready to deliver to targets in a still volatile and challenging environment,” Mr Corfield said.
“I am confident that by appointing Mark to this position, we are shaping the best fit-for-purpose team to lead the business.”
Mr Reid will officially take up his new post on 29 March, 2010.
The recently appointed head of broker sales, Aaron Milburn, will continue to head up the retail broker division for Bankwest.
