Tickets for the industry’s event of the year are selling fast following the announcement of the finalists for the 2016 Australian Broking Awards.
The Adviser’s Australian Broking Awards, returning for a sixth consecutive year, recognise the nation’s leading brokers, brokerages and aggregation groups.

Sterling Publishing’s managing editor for mortgages and real estate, James Mitchell, said the event is the perfect opportunity for brokers to come together and share ideas.
“So far, it has been another busy year in mortgage broking, with plenty of changes still to come,” Mr Mitchell said.
“The Australian Broking Awards are a great opportunity for new and experienced brokers to come together and share their experiences of working in a dynamic attraction industry that is now the dominant force in Australian mortgages.”
Individual titles up for grabs include Asset Finance Broker of the Year; Commercial Finance Broker of the Year; Customer Service of the Year (Individual); Finance Broker of the Year; Newcomer of the Year; Regional Broker of the Year; and Residential Broker of the Year.
A total of 17 group awards will be presented at this year’s event, including Aggregator of the Year; Broker Marketing Platform of the Year; Consumer Marketing of the Year; Boutique Aggregator of the Year; Customer Service of the Year (Office); Diversification Program of the Year; Innovator of the Year; Major Brokerage of the Year – Franchise; and Major Brokerage of the Year – Non-Franchise.
Other titles to be awarded include New Office of the Year; Office of the Year – Franchise; Office of the Year – Non-Franchise (five or less brokers); Office of the Year – Non-Franchise (more than five brokers); Regional Office of the Year; Social and Community Service Program of the Year; Technology Platform of the Year; and Training and Education Program of the Year.
