An ASX-listed banking and wealth management group has announced the appointment of Sibylle Krieger as non-executive director of the board.
MyState Limited has revealed that the current non-executive chair of intellectual property company Xenith IP Group Limited will take up the role as non-executive director of MyState on 1 December 2016.

Ms Krieger has 35 years of broad commercial experience as a lawyer, economic regulator and non-executive director. She was a partner in two large commercial law firms for 22 years and currently holds the roles of non-executive chair of Xenith IP Group Limited and non-executive director of Australian Energy Market Operator Ltd and the Tasmanian Water and Sewerage Corporation.
MyState chairman Miles Hampton said that the company was “very pleased” that Ms Krieger had agreed to join the board, adding that she “brings to the board a legal background and extensive experience as a non-executive director across a range of industries”.
“We look forward to her contribution,” he added.
Ms. Krieger is trustee of the Sydney Grammar School and a non-executive director of its foundation. She was formerly a director of Sydney Ports Corporation and Allconnex Water, and a trustee of the Royal Botanic Gardens and Domain Trust.
