Now in its third year, the Insights Roadshow will visit five major capital cities and forms a significant part of Pepper’s education offering to the third-party channel.
The ASX-listed group confirmed that it will be launching a new digital tool for brokers, one of three new technology initiatives that Pepper will unveil this year.
Pepper’s managing director of Australian mortgages and personal loans, Mario Rehayem, told The Adviser that the event is attracting a diverse group of mortgage professionals.
“This year we have consolidated two years of feedback from our previous roadshows and driving what we’re calling a Masterclass in Specialist Lending,” Mr Rehayem said.
“In 2015, we saw a significant number of new-to-industry brokers with less than two years’ experience. In 2016, we saw a huge increase in broker attendees who had five to 10 years’ experience or more,” he said.
“This year we’re attracting a diverse range of brokers, aggregator BDMs and white-label partners.”
Previous roadshows have included information on the specialist lending market, helping brokers identify and market to non-conforming clients. This year, brokers will also be given an in-depth look at Pepper’s products and credit process.
“We will also be including our chief credit officer who will give attendees an intimate understanding of credit and lift the lid on the decision-making process,” Mr Rehayem said.
Pepper will also provide attendees with a comprehensive overview of the big issues currently impacting the third-party channel and the broader lending market.
