A new player in the cash flow finance sector has announced the appointment of an industry veteran to lead operations and sales growth in regional markets.
Australian Invoice Finance (AIF) has appointed the former general manager of Scottish Pacific’s South Australia office, Gary Green, to spearhead its regional operations in Western Australia and South Australia.

Mr Green will now join his former executive colleagues at Bibby Financial Services, AIF managing director Greg Charlwood and senior manager of NSW operations Matthew Erwin, to “take on” the market leader.
The Perth-based appointee served for seven years as sales director at Bibby, and Mr Charlwood believes that Mr Green’s continued experience in the industry will further develop AIF’s platform.
“Gary’s tremendous experience, his networks and his understanding of SME needs will help us grow our business strongly in both regions.
“He has grown cash flow finance businesses from the ground up before and we are confident he can repeat this success,” Mr Charlwood said.
AIF has signed clients in five out of six Australian states since its launch in August 2017, and Mr Charlwood believes that the business’ “fast start” is proof that the sector was not meeting the needs of SMEs.
