Head of business and private banking at Bankwest Mark Reid yesterday appointed Aaron Milburn as head of broker sales in Bankwest Business and Andrew Benham as head of origination and quality.
“I am delighted two leaders of this calibre have chosen to be part of the new business broker sales team,” Mr Reid told The Adviser.
Milburn and Benham will be responsible for working on the refreshed business broker strategy, which is designed to streamline the experience for customers and brokers.
Mr Reid said the new appointments would allow the business broker channel to focus on quality acquisition and deliver high quality service.
”The broker channel plays an integral part in the Bankwest business and we are committed to supporting this channel any way we can,” he said.
“Aaron is currently the Head of Broker Sales for Bankwest Retail, and joins Bankwest business with an extensive knowledge of the broker network and strong relationships with the CEOs of our aggregator partners.
“Andrew is currently the regional business development manager for commercial banking, and has wide-ranging experience across commercial lending and credit risk management.”
