CBA launches property iApp

The Adviser

By: Belinda Luc

The Commonwealth Bank has announced the release of a Property Guide iPhone application which it says will make property and finance searching easier for consumers.

The application uses ‘augmented reality’ technology developed with property analytics company RP Data, to deliver up to the minute information about a property; including its past and recent sales history, and current listings.

Using the application, users can access detailed suburb information and auction data, retrieve and analyse auction data, search for properties, as well as calculate monthly home loan repayments.

A spokesperson for the bank told The Adviser the application had been designed to help property buyers make successful property decisions.

“Property Guide is about enabling home buyers to make informed purchasing decisions by enabling home buyers to view recent and past sales data which will give them insights into market conditions.”
