The non-bank lender has appointed a new head to lead its residential sales team for mortgages.
Pepper Money has picked its acting head of retail sales, Siobhan Williams, to be its new head of mortgages – retail broker, after a 13-year long tenure with the lender.

She will report to Pepper’s general manager for mortgages and commercial lending, Barry Saoud.
Ms Williams previously has held a number of support and leadership roles at the non-bank, including credit and settlements support positions, business development management (BDM) at a state level (NSW), regional (South East) and most recently at a national level as acting head of retail sales.
Previous to Pepper, she worked with NAB for around three years in its customer lending division.
Mr Saoud commented under the new role, Ms Williams will be responsible for delivering a “best in industry and consistent BDM network”, as well as improving the broker service proposition, identifying new opportunities to gain market share and managing relationships with partners.
“Pepper Money is investing heavily in the broker channel, with a focus on having the right people across all areas of our business, creating the right environment to allow them to succeed, and leveraging our industry leading digital tools to allow for a more seamless approach between the customer, broker and our partners,” he said.

He added Ms Williams brings a “wealth of experience and understanding of alternative lending, trust and industry-leading relationships”.
“Siobhan will lead our team of talented BDMs across the country and focus on driving our mortgage lending business,” he said.
Commenting on her appointment, Ms Williams added: “I’m thrilled about playing a role in lifting the profile of non-bank lending and the level of awareness across the entire broker industry.
