Lemon has worked as a business development manager (BDM) for 20 years, having served as a senior BDM for a range of lenders, including ORDE Financial, Bluestone, Resimac, and Pepper.
The state manager – who has been jointly leading the national sales team alongside Melanie de Jager (state manager for Western Australia and South Australia) since October 2023 – has appointed three BDMs to its NSW team since January 2023, including Harry Stewart, Sarin Yedelian, and Kelly Lam.
Lemon commented: “MA Money has invested in building our national sales team to service increased demand from brokers.”
He added he first joined MA Money because he “could see the potential in the business”.
“[Its] commitment and passion for providing outstanding service, while offering flexible solutions for customers was important to me,” Lemon said.
“The opportunity to put together a first-class sales team and to watch the business grow has been very rewarding,” he said, flagging that MA Money reached $1 billion in settlements last month.
De Jager commented: “Tim and I have worked closely together to build up and strengthen our sales team with highly experienced BDMs well-versed in the non-bank sector.
“We’re definitely in a very good position for growth right now. The great thing about MA Money is that we’re all about continuous improvement. We’ll continue to refine our processes, build on our product offerings, and strengthen our team so that we can consistently deliver the level of service brokers and their clients know to expect from us.”
MA Money also recently appointed Gabrielle Aoun to the newly created role of head of partnerships, where she will focus on building aggregator partnerships. Aoun has previous experience as a BDM with ORDE Financial and Resimac.
Other recent BDM appointments include:
- Tannaz Mahrang – Queensland BDM.
- Dean Cherry – Victorian BDM.
- Brad Fletcher – Western Australian BDM.
