The self-employed lending specialist has extended its major partnership with the rugby league club.
Self-employed lending specialist RedZed has extended its partnership with Melbourne Storm, an agreement that will see the lender become the longest-serving major partner in the club’s history.
RedZed announced the extension during a joint press conference at the Storm’s home ground, AAMI Park, last Wednesday (5 March).
The extension will see RedZed retain its major partnership for three more years until the end of the 2028 NRL season.
By that time, the partnership will have spanned nine years.
Since the partnership commenced in 2020, RedZed and the Storm have collaborated on numerous projects including community initiatives, professional development events, and fan activations.
The lender has also contributed more than $100,000 to charities in partnership with the rugby league club.
Calvin Cordle, RedZed managing director, said the lender was delighted to be renewing its major partnership with the Storm.
“Since becoming the club’s major partner in 2020, we’ve shared some incredible moments – two grand final appearances and a premiership win – while also standing together through the challenges of COVID,” Cordle said.
“Our partnership continues to be successful because we share similar values and a like-minded culture. RedZed values integrity, courage, effort, and respect – qualities that Storm exemplifies on and off the field.
“These same principles drive self-employed Australians and small business owners, the people we are proud to support at RedZed.”
Melbourne Storm CEO Justin Rodski said: “We’re thrilled to renew our major partnership with RedZed. Their support has been outstanding in helping us achieve sustained success both on and off the field, and we’re immensely proud of the strength of the relationship and the initiatives we have delivered together.
“Having their support over the last six years has been incredible; we’ve tackled some great challenges and enjoyed some special moments together. We look forward to what we can achieve over the next three years in what is fast becoming one of the most successful partnerships in our sport.”
