Assetline Capital joins SFG’s lending panel

by Ben Squires7 minute read

SFG brokers will now be able to access the non-bank’s product suite, including mortgages, construction finance, and bridging loans.

Assetline Capital has joined Specialist Finance Group’s (SFG) lending panel, making the non-bank lender’s product suite available to the aggregator’s network of more than 1,400 brokers.

The partnership will let SFG brokers access Assetline Capital’s full product suite, including long-term mortgages, short-term private lending solutions, and consumer bridging, as well as construction and development finance.

This announcement comes off the back of a number of product developments from the non-bank lender over the past 12 months.

For example, Assetline Capital recently announced the expansion of its product range, including its long-term product, Horizon Mortgages.

Royden D’Vaz, Assetline Capital’s general manager of distribution and partnership, said the partnership would help give brokers access to more flexible solutions for a wider range of borrower needs.

“It’s a challenging market right now and clients are looking for choice,” D’Vaz said.

“We’re excited to bring SFG more options for their savvy brokers and customers. As a full-service lender, brokers will have the ability to help more customers and find more solutions all in one place.”

D’Vaz said the past 12 months had seen the non-bank lender “grow tremendously” – including a 35 per cent increase in bridging finance settlements – adding the Assetline Capital team would be there to help SFG brokers familiarise themselves with its products.

“For some brokers it may be the first time working with us or on a loan type they’re not familiar with. Our sales teams across the country are on hand to guide them along the way,” D’Vaz said.

“We encourage all SFG brokers to get accredited with us so they can access our full suite of lending solutions.”

Blake Buchanan, SFG general manager, also said on the partnership: “We are very much looking forward to welcoming Assetline Capital to our panel and enjoying a wonderful partnership into the future.

“As one of Australia’s premier aggregators, we look forward to partnering with Assetline to assist our members with leading financial solutions across the country.”
