Ubank Launches Flexible Tech For A Simpler Way To A Fast Loan.

Ubank has strengthened their position as a top digital lender, with a new lodgement platform that implements feedback from brokers all over Australia.

The reinvented Ubank lodgement platform portal is designed to reduce unnecessary friction, lower the burden on customers, save brokers time, and make lodgement a more flexible process for everyone.

“As a digital bank, it’s important that Ubank listens to the experiences of brokers and learns from them,” says George Srbinovski, Head of Broker Distribution at Ubank.

“We know that some brokers had given up on using Ubank because the technology got in the way of the loan. We’ve taken huge steps to make sure that’s no longer the case.”

Flexibility with less repetition and more results is the DNA of the Ubank’s new system.

Ubank’s platform puts the process back in the hands of brokers with a lodgement flow that can be completed in any order, allowing brokers to move forward while waiting for important documentation from clients. Ubank has also enabled the re-use of account statement codes from Illion’s bankstatements.com.au, to reduce repetitive tasks.

Ubank caught up with a few brokers recently to chat about the new system.

“A new loan writer would be able to do it without any training,” according to Monique Henderson, a broker from AAA Financial Group. “It’s super easy to follow – 15 minutes to submit an application.”

The experience also benefits the customers, who now receive only one communication during the lodgement process with all the information they need, to reduce confusion and back-and-forth with brokers.

TK Yeoh from ZENRG Finance was a fan. "No doubling up, no duplicates, no redundant documents,” he says, “it makes the broker look like a superstar."

As for the loans, Ubank still offers no-fuss basic loans with competitive rates – now with faster applications thanks to the new broker lodgement system.
