Just weeks out from its new launch date, the Bank of Melbourne has officially opened its customer contact centre.
The lender’s chief executive Scott Tanner said the opening was a milestone for the bank ahead of its July 25 launch date.

Mr Tanner said the next step for the bank was to open 14 branches before year’s end.
Earlier this week, the Bank of Melbourne announced it would bring forward its re-launch date to July from august.
Speaking to The Adviser, St George’s general manager of intermediary distribution Steven Heavey said the rebranding process currently underway in Victoria was well ahead of schedule, prompting the bank to bring forth its launch date.
