The bank has launched the NetBank for iPad and Android tablets as well as a new CommBank mobile banking app for iPhones, Androids and Windows Phone 7.
The NetBank tablet app has been custom designed to utilise the ‘tap’ feature of tablets.
Customers using the NetBank app will be able to make bill payments and account transfers in three ‘taps’.
Meanwhile, the lender’s new CommBank mobile banking app houses NetBank, CommSec, the CommBank property guide and a new FX Tool Kit.
The app can also help a customer locate their nearest branch/ATM.
CBA’s chief marketing and online officer Andy Lark said the bank’s customers had been demanding fast, convenient and easy to use mobile banking platforms.
“In the past 12 months, we have seen a 347 per cent increase in mobile page views on our commbank.com.au site and this latest app release finally cements our position as being Australia’s best bank,” he said.
“Our ongoing focus and investment on core systems, mobile and online banking and payments will deliver a stream of innovations that keep our customers ahead.”
