Speaking to The Adviser, Bankwest’s head of broker sales Aaron Milburn said any commercial broker that writes a loan with the lender has the ability to enter the competition.
“You don’t have to be a rugby know-all to win this competition. It doesn’t matter if you don’t know your fly-half from your scrum-half. All commercial brokers have to do is generate a Smart number and answer a simple question. That gives them an entry into the weekly draw and the grand prize. The more Smart numbers they generate, the more chances they have of winning,” Mr Milburn said.
“The Rugby World Cup is one of the biggest sporting competitions in the world. Over 4 billion people around the world will be glued to the TV, many of our brokers included, and over 70,000 rugby fans from around the world are expected to make the trip to New Zealand. So we thought we’d join in the excitement and give Bankwest brokers the chance to be at the grand final.”
The competition runs from 12 August 2011 to 29 September 2011.
Along with the major prize of a trip for two to the grand final, there will be semi-final ticket and accommodation packages to be won, plus heaps of fantastic weekly prizes including rugby X-box 360 games.
