Bankwest Business has bolstered its broker proposition, appointing Brian Steele as the new regional manager east coast broker sales.
Mr Steele will be responsible for leading the acquisition of all new deals introduced by business brokers in the eastern states, including increases and variations. He will also focus on building strong relationships with aggregators and broker firms.

Bankwest Business head of commercial, business and private banking, Mark Reid, stated that continuing a strong and effective leadership presence on the east coast is essential in ensuring the strategic success of the channel.
"I am confident that by appointing Brian to this position, we will be well placed to continue building a profitable, sustainable and well respected business. Bankwest's strong presence and highly regarded reputation in the broker industry will be further embedded through Brian's appointment." Mr Reid said.
Mr Steele brings more than fifteen years' experience in the finance industry to the role, more recently at the helm of the broker origination team for the Commonwealth Bank where he was responsible for both the commercial lending and asset finance broker business throughout Australia.
Prior to joining the Commonwealth Bank, he was a director of a national commercial broking firm. Mr Steele has extensive experience and networks in both commercial lending and third party distribution.
