After an online poll of MFAA accredited members, the three finalists for the Lender of the Year were Commonwealth Bank, NAB and ANZ.
“The awards give national recognition to mortgage and finance professionals who display a high degree of professionalism, commitment to service, integrity, ethical conduct and innovation. Winners have also demonstrated a contribution to their local community," MFAA chief executive officer Phil Naylor said.
“All of the winners and finalists have demonstrated these qualities in a year that presented a number of significant regulatory and market challenges to the mortgage and finance sector. All of the winners have excelled despite the challenges they faced during the year."
Other winners on the night included Bankwest, which took home Non-Major Lender of the Year, Mortgage Choice, which took out retail aggregator of the Year, Vow which took home the Wholesale Aggregator of the Year; and Ruan Burger who won the coveted MFAA Excellence Award of Distinction.
