Judges for the 2012 Australian Broking Awards have been revealed today as the industry edges closer to the mortgage industry’s lunch of the year.

With professionalism and transparency at the heart of the Australian Broking Awards, the appointment of an independent judging panel is a significant component of the assessment process.
Jim Hall, publisher of The Adviser, said the addition of the interviews to the judging process for some categories offers finalists the opportunity to support their submission and reinforce their business’ success.
“This year there has been immense competition among the leading groups and individuals to take out top honours,” he said.
“All of our judges are leaders in their respective fields and will bring great experience and expertise to our assessment processes.
“I’d like to thank all of the judges for taking part in this year’s event and wish all finalists the best of luck in these final stages.”
In addition to written submissions, several complex corporate categories will also include a panel interview with the judges – a decision made to ensure a complete and thorough assessment that reflects the richness and diversity of certain business models.
Now in its second year, the Australian Broking Awards, partnered by the Commonwealth Bank, is the only awards program focused solely on the third party distribution sector, recognising the industry’s top performing brokers and broker groups.
The winners of the 2012 Australian Broking Awards will be revealed at a business luncheon at the Overseas Passenger Terminal in Sydney on July 27.
With less than ten tables remaining at the luncheon, finalists are being urged to secure their place at the Awards now. Click here to book your table or contact Andrew Scott on 02 9922 3300.
