Scott McWilliam, who has been with Homeloans for nine years, has been appointed to the role of chief operating officer.
“Mr McWilliam has a strong understanding of our business and will do an excellent job in this role,” Homeloans’ executive chairman Tim Holmes said.
In addition to Mr McWilliam’s appointment, Homeloans has appointed three new business development managers who will be responsible for managing relationships with third party brokers.
The three new BDMs – Timothy Damien, Noushig Megerditchian and John Miller – all have strong experience in relationship management.
Mr Damien previously worked as a BDM with Suncorp Metway and prior to that worked with Combined Home Loans, initially as a loans processor and subsequently as sales manager and then general manager.
Mr Megerditchian has many years’ experience across a range of relationship management, mobile lending and finance broking roles within the finance and banking arena, having previously worked as a relationship manager with companies including Provident Capital and Suncorp.
Finally, Mr Miller has held a number of key senior sales, management and marketing roles across the country, including in Sydney, Perth, regional Queensland and northern Australia.
“Our new BDMs will work closely with our broker network,” Homeloans’ general manager – sales Greg Mitchell said.
“Each of Homeloans’ BDMs is very involved with brokers to help facilitate loans and ensure a smooth transition through the pipeline from submission to settlement.
“With the addition of 54 former Refund brokers to our network, bolstering our BDM team was a natural next step.”
