RAMS today announced the appointment of Marita Gilmour to the position of regional manager for Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia.

Ms Marita Gilmour who has held senior state manager positions within the mortgage industry joins the RAMS Franchise team from today, reporting to general manager of franchise business, Huw Bough.
“With Marita’s extensive industry experience, deep knowledge of business partnerships and a proven track record in sales management, Marita will be a wonderful addition to the RAMS team,” Mr Bough said.
“Marita’s appointment reinforces RAMS commitment to building small business success stories within the franchise network and driving opportunities to support our customers in Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia,” he said.
Ms Gilmour joins RAMS from PLAN Australia where she held the role of state manager Victoria and Tasmania for 11 years.
In this position, Ms Gilmour led a team of business development managers and developed, implemented and monitored regional strategies.
Prior to working with PLAN Australia, Ms Gilmour held a number of roles with Colonial, including state relationship manager – third party banking.
Last year, Ms Gilmour was awarded the status of Fellow of the MFAA (Mortgage & Finance Association of Australia), which along with a minimum length of service to the industry, recognises those who have served the industry with distinction and made a substantial contribution to the advancement, development or dissemination of industry knowledge.
