The Adviser’s Australian Broking Awards, partnered by Commonwealth Bank will see 400 of the industry’s elite gather to recognise the achievements of the most successful brokers and brokerages at a prestigious awards ceremony on Friday.
Proceedings at this sell-out event will begin with the highly anticipated final of BrokerIQ, hosted by Larry Emdur and sponsored by entertainment partner St George. Aria’s Matt Moran will then introduce a menu created exclusively for the awards before the first winner of 2012 is revealed.
According to Jim Hall, publisher of The Adviser, the 2012 awards has been another hard fought contest.
“The Australian Broking Awards are without doubt the most coveted of any accolade in this industry and that’s down to the transparency of the judging process and the trust the industry placed in The Adviser.
“We’ve had an outstanding number of submissions and now just days away from revealing who the winners are. This is what it’s all been building up to over the last six months and there is a real buzz about Friday’s luncheon."
Hosted at Sydney’s prestigious Overseas Passenger Terminal, finalists and guests will enjoy five star dining during the awards with the celebrations set to continue at an exclusive after-party hosted by The Adviser and Commonwealth Bank.
“There’s something very refreshing about an awards luncheon – there’s a tempo and an energy that you just don’t get at evening functions. It’s going to be a big day,” said Jim Hall.
