A joint initiative of The Adviser and RFi, the Australian Lending Awards are dedicated exclusively to achievement within the Australian mortgage lending industry.
The event recognises the nation’s leading lenders across 16 categories, including the highly-coveted Mortgage Lender of the Year.
The 2013 program also includes two new categories – Best Broker Cross-Sell Offering and Best Specialist Lender.
Jim Hall, publisher of The Adviser, said the strong level of interest the third annual event had received reflected a lending industry eager to advance and gain recognition for its members' innovations and dedication.
“The number of submissions received for the 2013 Australian Lending Awards has jumped significantly,” Mr Hall said.
“Not only have we received more entries than ever before, but the feedback from judges is that the quality of lender submissions is outstanding.”
Managing Director of RFi, Alan Shields said the industry in Australia is highly innovative and key players are being applauded for their thought leadership and the quality of their offerings to both their brokers and customers.
“The Australian Lending Awards has fast become the benchmark for excellence in mortgage lending and all finalists announced today represent the forefront of this competitive industry,” he said.
The results of extensive broker and consumer surveys, in addition to the assessment of the Australian Lending Awards 2013 judging panel, will now determine the winners for the 2013 event.
Finalists across several categories will also be invited to present their case to the Australian Lending Awards judging panel as part of the final assessment process.
The winners of the Australian Lending Awards 2013 will be revealed at a prestigious gala dinner at Sydney’s Sofitel Wentworth on Friday 15 February 2013.
A joint initiative of The Adviser and RFi, the Australian Lending Awards is part of the Australian Lending Summit. The Summit also includes the Australian Mortgage Conference, which will take place on the same day as the awards.
