The Council of Australian Governments (COAG) yesterday agreed to the establishment of a national e-conveyancing system.
Under the new system, which will be implemented by March 2010, home buyers will benefit from reduced legal and conveyancing fees as well as a simpler process for the lodgement and exchange of documents.
