Reaffirming its commitment to local communities and brokers, Westpac has launched a local icon competition at the MFAA conference this week.

The Local Icon Competition asks brokers to take a photo of something iconic in their local area and tweet or email it to Westpac for the chance to win a $3,000 local Australian getaway.
The competition, which was launched at the MFAA conference this week, will run until June – giving brokers plenty of time to take their photographs.
“We recognise that mortgage brokers dedicate many hours to their profession and our industry, so we wanted to support them with an opportunity to simply take some time off and explore our amazing country. The launch of the Westpac Local Icon Competition also coincides with Westpac’s brand commitment to supporting Australians and this includes our mortgage broker partners,” said Tony MacRae, general manager, Westpac Mortgage Broker Distribution.
“This exciting competition and our active presence at the MFAA National Convention reaffirms our commitment to the industry and to brokers. This key event will again give us the fantastic opportunity to continue to build and deepen relationships with our broker and aggregator partners.
