ANZ raises rates

ANZ announced on Friday it would increase the rate on its variable home loans, shortly after the Commonwealth Bank made a similar announcement.

The 0.15 per cent rise, which come into effect today, brings the bank’s standard variable home loan rate to 9.62 per cent.
