NAB, Suncorp move on rates

NAB and Suncorp yesterday announced an increase to their standard variable lending rates.

From Wednesday, Suncorp’s variable rate will rise by 20 basis points to 9.67 per cent.

NAB’s interest rate will climb to 9.61 per cent, a 15 basis point increase, effective today.

Westpac remains the only big bank yet to announce any changes to its variable lending rates.
