Data released by the ABS yesterday showed that retail turnover volumes rose just 0.1 per cent over the September quarter to $53.104 billion, seasonally adjusted.
State by state, New South Wales and the ACT saw their third consecutive fall in turnover in trend terms while in Victoria turnover was flat. The other states recorded slight increases.
