The inaugural event has already inspired hundreds of brokers as it kicked off in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney in July.
Feedback from the 754 attendees at the three events suggested the boot camp was a roaring success, with everyone walking away with tips and tricks from some of the industry’s most digitally-inclined speakers.
Susanne Massingham of Shire First Mortgages in Sydney said she found all of the sessions useful.
“There is a consistent message about keeping your content consistent and regular,” Ms Massingham said.
“I've taken away things like blogging and definitely podcasts and making sure that they go across multiple [platforms] and maybe the importance of having that back on my website, because that's what we don't do,” she said.
Taras Mencinsky of Runmore Loans said he liked the idea of using podcasts to really focus on value-adding.
“One thing I’ve been poor on is basically updating the website so that it keeps being current. Adding an FAQ page and videos is something that we’re definitely going to try,” he said.
The Digital Marketing Boot Camp will arrive in Perth on 17 November at The Duxton, and in Adelaide on 19 November at the Adelaide Convention Centre.
Speakers include Greg Cassar, Australia’s most highly sought-after digital marketing strategist, social media guru Adam Franklin and Tim Reid, host of Australia and New Zealand’s number one business and marketing podcast.
