NextGen.Net makes strategic partnership appointment

The technology provider has announced the return of a former sales manager, who has been appointed to manage its strategic partnerships.

NextGen.Net has appointed Greg Phillips to the newly created role of national customer account executive.

According to NextGen.Net, Mr Phillips, who began his role in September, forms a key part of its customer engagement team and will drive relationship management with lenders and broker groups in his role.

Mr Phillips will manage a portfolio of major banks, non-bank lenders and broker groups.

Commenting on Mr Phillips’ role, NextGen.Net chief customer officer Tony Carn said: “Greg has extensive experience in the industry and understands our customers’ needs and aspirations.

“He has a strength in identifying opportunities for efficiencies, prioritising and executing strategic priorities, and helping customers grow their businesses.”

Mr Phillips was previously national sales manager for Australia and New Zealand at NextGen.Net from 2013 to 2017.

Speaking about his return to NextGen.Net, Mr Carn said: “He’s a valuable addition to NextGen.Net, and we welcome his return to the team.”

Mr Phillips has held various other roles across the financial services industry, including director at illion, state manager, wealth at Yellow Brick Road, and various roles at National Australia Bank, including senior relationship manager, NAB Broker, and director, NAB Private Wealth.

Reflecting on his appointment at NextGen.Net, Mr Phillips said: “I am proud and excited to be back at NextGen.Net; its culture and capability in the market is second to none.

“NextGen.Net’s highly valuable solution set truly enables customers to make lending easy, and I look forward to working with our customers to bring that vision to life.”
