Resi head of consumer advocacy Lisa Montgomery said the new communication platform would enable those with a property interest to benefit from updated market information.
“This is a very exciting initiative for Resi and the launch couldn’t be more timely as borrowers in an information rich environment look for alternative ways to source material which can empower them and help them in their decision making,” Ms Montgomery said.
According to Ms Montgomery, the new form of consumer-friendly communication will be posted on both a proactive and reactive basis and will allow her to utilise her twenty five plus years of lending experience to assist users in making sense of what’s happening in the property market, and determine how it will affect them.
“Resi was one of the pioneers of consumer advocacy in the mortgage and property industry so this is a natural extension for us which will broaden our scope to help borrowers navigate their way through a market which continues to change and evolve every day,” she said.
