NextGen.Net launches enhanced version of ApplyOnline

The technology services provider has released an enhanced version of its online application platform for submitting supporting documentation.

NextGen.Net has revealed the release of the fourth version of its Supporting Documents service of the ApplyOnline platform, five years after the service was first launched.

According to NextGen.Net senior customer success manager Deniz Ertem, the V4 enhancements include the removal of checklists and a “complete redesign” of the user interface.

Other enhancements include:

  • improved file upload and attachment process
  • responsive design
  • a simplified document management system
  • increased file view size
  • a standalone deferred document process
  • a new commenting ability

Speaking of the changes, Mr Ertem said: “The new version is definitely a lot sexier as well. There’s no checklist anymore and it’s a complete redesign of our user interface.

“It’s now a card layout that makes for an enhanced user experience,” Mr Ertem said.

It is hoped that the upgrade will make it easier for brokers to use and help achieve straight-through processing.

The update comes five years after the Supporting Documents service was first launched onto the market, with the aim of reducing turnaround times and improving reworks ratings.

The popularity of the ApplyOnline platform grew as brokers and lenders discovered the efficiency of uploading supporting documents online.

Responsible lending and compliance has been a key point of focus for the industry recently, following the royal commission into misconduct, as brokers are being encouraged to adopt compliance technology to help ease regulatory burdens.
